Our Christian staff is familiar with the culture around churches.  We've worked with churches in a variety of denominations, including Southern Baptist, United Methodist, Presbyterian, and several independent churches.  Unlike other outside bookkeeping firms, we’re familiar with the pace and priorities of Planning and Finance committees.  We regularly work with trustees, ministry leaders, pastors, and volunteers to ensure that a church’s finances are honest, transparent, and understandable to everyone.

Large churches will often hire a full-time staff person to handle all of their financial and business issues.  If your church just needs someone for a few hours a week, however, it can be hard to find reliable help.  Volunteers are often well-meaning, but they tend to be inexperienced when it comes to the specific type of accounting, payroll, and tax situations that a church needs to deal with.

Good Book specializes in smaller churches.  If all you need is someone to come in a few hours a week to help with paying bills and reconciling your bank statements, then that's all you'll pay for.  Don't keep handing off time-sensitive and important tasks to your already overworked Finance Committee!
